My sketch of Toronto

As seen from Humber Bay Park (sketched from a photo I took last week).

Unbeknowst to its citizens,

Toronto is crowned every morning

in silence

witnessed by fleets of geese, ducks, and crying seagulls

Baptized by garbage bag water made crystal clear

for a missed, forgiving moment

when all of us are being hailed majestic in its beckoning, cleansing

fire.

Torrrrona & me,

Infinite ceremonial paroxysm.
